How to read ore finder results
Each result lists block coordinates (X, Y, Z), distance from the position you entered, and cluster size when the engine reports one. Start at the nearest high-probability spot, then check nearby backups if the first area is already mined.
Coordinates are calculated from your world seed and Minecraft version. Always verify in-game - generation can differ with datapacks, custom servers, or the wrong edition selected.
What the demo on this page shows
When you open /results without a search, you see sample diamond clusters so you can understand the
layout before running a live solve. Click Run ore finder to enter your seed on the homepage
tool. After Solve, you land back here with live results for that seed.
Tips for better finds
- Use the same edition and version as your world (Java vs Bedrock matters).
- Stand near where you plan to dig and enter those X / Y / Z values for distance sorting.
- Increase search radius if nothing appears nearby, then mine within about 15-20 blocks of each marker.
- For diamonds on 1.18+, focus around deepslate layers near Y -59 unless your version differs.
